Using the Eposic RPG Weather Generator

The Eposic RPG Weather Generator is used to determine random weather conditions in an area for which predominant weather conditions have not been predetermined. For instance, if you as Game Master are building a new world, you might use the Weather Generator to determine the typical weather conditions for your new world. The Weather Generator may also be useful during game play to determine current weather conditions under unusual or unexpected circumstances.

For example, suppose the player characters decide to make use of a magical scroll, and they really mess up the invocation. The scroll has its normal effect, but has a side effect that disrupts the weather in the immediate area. To determine exactly how the weather is affected, you can use the Weather Generator.

As another example, suppose the player characters are teleported by their enemies to some distant, random location in your world. If you've got your whole world mapped out, then no problem. But if the player characters end up in some part of your world that isn't mapped out, then you can use the Weather Generator to determine the typical weather conditions of the land to which they've been teleported.

As a final example, if the player characters happen into a plane of Chaos, you could use the Weather Generator to generate the daily (or even hourly!) weather conditions, since weather patterns are not likely to be predictable in such a place anyway.

Some of the conditions generated by the Weather Generator may not fit your world. If this is the case and a generated set of conditions is not to your liking, feel free to simply click the Generate button again and generate another set of conditions. Never feel compelled to use any random result generated by any tool. You are the ruler of your world. Don't let random results destroy your plans; feel free to ignore any result that doesn't work for you.
