Eposic: Links to other RPG and Speculative Fiction sites
Below are links to a few sites to which Eposic
has chosen to link. Some of these links are here because they link to Eposic,
and we're reciprocating. If your site is related to games or fiction in some
way and you'd like to exchange reciprocal links with Eposic, contact us by
clicking the Contact link in the left margin. We are very particular about
the sites to which we link below, and reserve the right to refuse to
exchange reciprocal links for any reason.
The Perilous Plains:
An online Interactive Game Book adventure, like a "Tunnels and Trolls" or
"Fighting Fantasy" solo adventure book but available as a web page instead of
as a printed book. Sports a "cheat sheet" that is cool to look at even if you
don't use it during the game. The game is not fully automated, allowing you to
"cheat" if it is more fun to do so. It does provide online virtual
dice—using the Eposic open source dice
roller code!
Malinche Entertainment:
Interactive Fiction is the Next Dimension in Fiction. Much more than text
adventure games, you can enjoy crime fiction, science fiction, horror fiction,
or a techno thriller and take your enjoyment of fiction books to the next level.
Ken St. Andre's Trollhalla:
Ken St. Andre's site devoted to the Tunnels and Trolls gaming community. You can get a paying
membership or a non-paying membership. Ken runs some neat contests and gives away prizes
from his 'treasure vault'. His prizes include books, games, and toys that he has collected
over the years and has decided to part with -- rather than take the boring route and
auction it all away, he's having a bit of fun running contests and giving away prizes.
You can check out the site by logging in on the guest account before you decide to join.
Peryton
Publishing: Publisher of a variety of RPG materials including
T&T and d20-compatible game rules and supplements and ficiton.
They aren't afraid to explore any genre, it seems.
They are the publishers of Troll Tunnels, a sword and sorcery anthology
which includes three short stories by the Eposic manager, Michael Eidson.
They also have an open forum for all kinds of RPG and fiction goodness.
Outlaw Press: A publisher of new T&T materials and reseller of old
T&T finds, Outlaw Press has permission from Flying Buffalo, Inc. to sell
official T&T products. If you're looking for lots of new T&T
material, this is the place to look.

Flying Buffalo, Inc.: Publishers of the
Tunnels and Trolls game. Order Tunnels and Trolls here.
They also do PBM games, and they allow you to send in turns by e-mail, too. Any one that
claims to be a gamer should play StarWeb at least once.

The Hobgoblin's Tavern: Your mug's never empty at this
well-done UK site dedicated to Tunnels and Trolls.
www.JFreels.com is the website
of a storyteller who works thru prose and visual imagery. The guy
draws a lot of monsters too, and several can be seen wandering
around the UGH
Monster game here on the Eposic site! Jeff drew the Trolf trademark
character for Eposic, which adorns the bottom of this page and most other
pages on this site.
Gristlegrim
Dungeon: Free roleplaying game resource for Tunnels & Trolls. An
ongoing project maintained by Andy James, aka Dekhurrrsio the Goblin,
as he's known on Trollhalla. This site is hosted on the Eposic server.
Quoghmyre's
Realm: Another site belonging to a Trollhalla member and hosted
on the Eposic server. He's a Mac aficionado and has created some cool 3D
eye candy.
Dandelion
Studios: Featuring Zephyr & Reginald: Minions For Hire.
Plus other comics, fiction, magazines, and articles with a science fiction or
fantasy bent. Brought to you by Gynn Stella and
Rick Silva.
RPTools:
If you have the appropriate version of Java installed on your computer, give these Java tools a try.
The niftiest tool on the site is the map tool, which allows you to create, modify,
and share maps over the internet in real time. If you don't
have the appropriate version of Java, there's a link on the RPTools site to the Java download site.
Troll and Toad
For a large selection of RPG books both in print and out of print.
They also carry tons of dice as well. If you're into MtG, they've got
cards. And they have a variety of board games that you might not easily
find elsewhere. Check 'em out. It's free to look!
GameWyrd: A resource for roleplaying with RPG chatrooms,
famous last words, reviews and news. Free online fantasy games, interactive stories and links to muds and mushes.
Plus Battle Imps!
RealNPC Generator: A very
cool JavaScript generator originally based on Eposic code. Please take a look at it; it's author has spent a lot of time
and thought on it, and it shows.
Grey Ghost Press, Inc.:
Home of Fudge and Other Great Role-Playing Game Stuff!
Errant Dreams: Resources for Roleplayers
and Writers
Roleplayers Home: A forum for roleplayers.
They used to have lots of other wonderful stuff; don't know what happened to it.
Seventh Sanctum: A site of generators to randomly
produce concepts, characters, and descriptions for stories, role-playing games, and art. Have fun or combat
creative block. This site has a ton of generators! Very cool.
Black Flower Music:
Not a gaming or fiction site. It's a site belonging to Andrew Eidson, son
of the Eposic manager. Andrew would love you to pay him a visit. You can even
find some music there created by his dad.
Andrew has created his own digital albums, using all sorts of electronic
equipment. If you like electronic music, synthesizers, and/or noise, check out
his digital albums. And if you're more into roleplaying, check out this
original mp3, called
Of
Dice and Dungeon. It's a riot that any rpg gamer should appreciate,
even if it is geared primarily to D&D.
