Eposic: Links (to Other RPG Sites on the Web)

Below are links to a few RPG sites that I've chosen to link to. Some of them are here because they link to the eposic site, and I'm reciprocating. If you'd like to exchange reciprocal links with the eposic site to your RPG site, contact me by clicking the Contact link in the left margin.

The Hobgoblin's Tavern
The Hobgoblin's Tavern
: Your mug's never empty at this well-done site dedicated to Tunnels and Trolls.

JFreels.comwww.JFreels.com is the website of a storyteller who works thru prose and visual imagery. The guy draws a lot of monsters too, and several can be seen wandering around the UGH Monster game!

Gristlegrim Dungeon: Free roleplaying game resource for Tunnels & Trolls. An ongoing project maintained by Andy James, aka Dekhurrrsio the Goblin. This site is hosted on the Eposic server.

Dandelion Studios: Featuring Zephyr & Reginald: Minions For Hire. Plus other comics, fiction, magazines, and articles with a science fiction or fantasy bent. Brought to you by my good friends Gynn Stella and Rick Silva.

Peryton Publishing: Publisher of a variety of RPG materials including some of their own systems, some d20-compatible stuff, and some things that can be used with any system. They also have an open forum for all kinds of RPG goodness.

Outlaw Press: Lots of Tunnels and Trolls products, for both 5th and 7th editions of the game. If you're looking for new T&T material, this is the place to look.

DriveThruRPG: Inexpensive, electronic versions of games, including World of Darkness, Active Exploits Diceless Roleplaying, Call of Cthulhu 2nd Edition, Stormbringer, and Shadowrun, Third Edition.

Flying Buffalo, Inc.: Publishers of the Tunnels and Trolls game. Order the 30th Anniversary edition of Tunnels and Trolls now! They also do PBM games, and they allow you to send in turns by e-mail, too. Any one that claims to be a gamer should play StarWeb at least once.

Ken St. Andre's Tunnels and Trolls Site: Tunnels and Trolls is the second-oldest rpg in the world. It is also one of the easiest to learn, and most fun to play. C'mon by and learn about it!

Ken St. Andre's Trollhalla: Another site devoted to the Tunnels and Trolls gaming community. You can get a paying membership or a non-paying membership. Ken runs some neat contests and gives away prizes from his 'treasure vault'. His prizes include books, games, and toys that he has collected over the years and has decided to part with -- rather than take the boring route and auction it all away, he's having a bit of fun running contests and giving away prizes. You can check out the site by logging in on the guest account before you decide to join.

I have put some of my programming skills to work for Trollhalla. If you want to try a different version of the Legend of the Green Dragon game, you can do so on the Trollhalla site. I've modified the game heavily--there are caverns you can explore, and the monsters therein have special powers, plus there is a section of the game world where your character changes to a Tunnels and Trolls character, and plays by Tunnels and Trolls 5.5 rules (using the optional Power attribute).

There are also a number of diversions on my eposic.org site here that allow Trollhalla members to use their Trollhalla stats.

MeetGamers.com: "A growing site for gamers of all kinds to meet." Has a good number of links to Tunnels and Trolls sites (including a link back to Eposic; thanks, Verdius!).

RPTools: If you have Java 1.5 installed on your computer, give these Java tools a try. The niftiest tool on the site is the map tool, which allows you to create, modify, and share maps over the internet in real time. All the tools currently use Java Web Start to run. Access them right from the web page. If you don't have Java 1.5, there's a link on the RPTools site to the Java download site.

Troll and Toad For a large selection of RPG books both in print and out of print. They also carry tons of dice as well. If you're into MtG, they've got cards. And they have a variety of board games that you might not easily find elsewhere. Check 'em out. It's free to look!

The Hoppit: Gargantuan Internet Adventure NeTwork (GIANT). From their website: The concept of GIANT is to grow the greatest sprawling world wide web RPG on the the face of the planet. It is a hyperlinked RPG network which will sprawl from domain to domain, including twists and turns only the organic generation of chaos can provide.

I've now opened my own branch of the GIANT. Check it out!

Note: The GIANT project did not take off like it's creator had hoped. There are times when I try to access the main Hoppit site, and I get nothing. You can still find some GIANT sites out there, but I don't know how well linked together they are. I thought it was a good idea, but I haven't seen too many people jump on the bandwagon. If you do a Google search for 'thehoppit', the domain name for the main site and which all GIANT pages supposedly link to, there aren't a whole lot of results that are actual game pages. Moreover, the blog associated with the game doesn't appear to be maintained, and most of the comments there are from spammers. All this to say that if you play my branch of the GIANT and you click a link that doesn't seem to go anywhere, it might be pointing to a page on the GIANT home page. But I still think that my branch of the GIANT is worth checking out. So please do.

GameWyrd: A resource for roleplaying with RPG chatrooms, famous last words, reviews and news. Free online fantasy games, interactive stories and links to muds and mushes. Plus Battle Imps! Very cool. Fight Eposic.org's Battle Imp at the bottom of this page.

RealNPC Generator: A very cool JavaScript generator originally based on Eposic code. Please take a look at it; it's author has spent a lot of time and thought on it, and it shows.

Grey Ghost Press, Inc.: Home of Fudge and Other Great Role-Playing Game Stuff!

Errant Dreams: Resources for Roleplayers and Writers

Roleplayers Home: Visit them for online Character Sheets, Character Generator, Character Database with DM tools, Map and Dungeon Creater, Weapon, Armor, Shields and Item Database. Note: The site only seems to be a forum now; I don't know what happened to the rest of the site.

Seventh Sanctum: A site of generators to randomly produce concepts, characters, and descriptions for stories, role-playing games, and art. Have fun or combat creative block. This site has a ton of generators! Very cool.

Black Flower Music: Not an rpg or gaming site. It's my son's site! He would love you to pay him a visit.

Slight Internet Addict.
I could go either way. Deep into the madness of nights filled with coding CGI-Scripts and online role playing games, or I could become a normal user. Wish me luck!
